Shia LaBeouf Arrested In Georgia For Drunkenness And Disorderly Conduct

Shia LaBeouf was arrested in Georgia early Saturday morning for disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness. TMZ reported the actor was booked at around 4:00 a.m. Eastern time. He has since been released on a $3,500 bond.
LaBeouf approached someone for a cigarette and was turned down, prompting him to begin swearing in front of children. An officer asked him to stop, but LaBeouf refused, and he subsequently ran to a nearby hotel. The police officer arrested him in the lobby, where LaBeouf continued to resist the officer.
LaBeouf is in Georgia filming the indie movie The Peanut Butter Falcon, according to Variety. The movie is filming in Savannah and also stars Dakota Johnson and Bruce Dern. He was having dinner with Johnson Friday evening before partying until late that night.
LaBeouf was arrested earlier this year outside his anti-Trump public art installation in Queens, NY. He was last arrested for public intoxication in 2015 in Austin, TX.
