Randy Jackson is Leaving 'American Idol'
We've been tracking the "American Idol" judge saga closely for some time now, as P. Diddy, Snoop Lion and Charlie Sheen have all been considered to replace Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. But shit is about to get even more intense, because it's now been announced that Randy Jackson is also leaving the show.
Yes.
TMZ reports that Jackson will stay on in a mentor role, but that his days at the judging table have come to a close. It's not clear who, if anyone, is in talks to replace him, although apparently Nicki Minaj is pretty definitely going to join Mariah Carey as a decider of aspiring singers' fates.
