This is it! The weekend horror hounds have been waiting for all month - everyone & Bates' mother has a Halloween Event, all guaranteed to be a scream! Go old school with Noise-feratu, Downtown Independent & Summer Fun Time Society's live performance of ghoulish grandaddy Nosferatu, featuring hardcore bands Kill Kill Kill, 0rgan Music, 8-bit blooper WMX, and other artists so crazy they've been banned from the internet.

For traditionalists (or German Expressionist nuts), LA Phil hosts organist Clark Wilson for another performance of Nosferatu at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Speaking of traditionalists, if you bat for the "zombies don't run" team, you'll be tickled sick for the 2nd Annual Long Beach Zombie Walk, with zombie photos, make-up, live performances, themed delights & George Romero's bonafied classic Night of the Living Dead!

The American Cinematheque pays tribute to the Twilight Zone in Hollywood, and a Dusk-to-Dawn Horrorthon in Santa Monica. Still running high from their own horror show earlier this month, the New Beverly has traded its deadly doubles for truly terrifying triples. But every machete has an edge, and the Cinefamily's all set to slice and dice. Their "Bollyween" starts the spooky song-and-dance with a Bollywood horror mega-mix, then keeps it going all night with DJ sets courtesy of dublab, private performances from local bands Bobb Bruno, Private Beach & Golden Hits, all fueled by drinks, dosas & dogs! The frights will delight!

"But! I'm squarer than a cube of Rubiks! Isn't there something for me this weekend?" Witness the real-life horrors of polygamist fundies with documentary Banking on Heaven! Follow the food straight into the Dive! Or sit back for a smooth ride with the hippest cats on the Sunset Strip! Rhino Records brings rare promotional videos, concert footage, and never-before-screened 35mm prints of TV's The Monkees, amongst many other goodies from psychedelic band The Living Sickness and go-go dancers on loan from Lucha Vavoom! You don't need to shriek out to freak out! It's going to be a hell of a party!

Full list appears below. See you at the (horror) movies!
