Pirate Pets of the Week: Faithful and Rosie
Faithful is an 18-month-old special needs kitty who came to Cats in Need from Long Beach. She was living a wild life that resulted in her losing the sight in her right eye due to a puncture wound. She had eye surgery to remove the eye and is recovering in a foster home. Faithful may have lived a wild life, but she's not a wild girl. She's an extremely sweet and affectionate lap cat, who loves to cuddle and purr like crazy. She's not a playful kitty; she's a lover-cat!
If you would like to help Faithful but aren't ready to adopt, you can donate to her medical care on the Cats in Need's Facebook page.
The Yorba Linda branch of Cats in Need hold adoption events at the Yorba Linda PetSmart every Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm-4 pm.
Rosie is a one-year-old Beagle/Dachshund mix. She was brought to the shelter with a severely infected left eye. The veterinarian at Pasadena Humane surgically removed it, and she's making a great recovery. She's a great dog who is need of a loving family. Rosie recently went on a field trip to a local school and did extremely well with other dogs and people. She loves to go on walks!Rosie is available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA. Adoption hours are from 9 am to 4 pm today.
