Photos: Bret Michaels, Jon Cryer Turn Out For Charity Triathlon
Celebrities including Bret Michaels, Jon Cryer, Jeremy Sisto, Mark Feuerstein and even Sheriff Lee Baca turned out Sunday for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, which raised $1 million for Children's Hospital Los Angeles, ABC 7 reports.
The triathlon starts off with a half-mile ocean swim, then an 18-mile bike ride, with the last leg being a four-mile run.
"It's for Children's Hospital Los Angeles, which I am a nurse there, so it's really close to my heart," said participant Lauren Windham. "Anything I can do for children's cancer, it's great."
Most of Sunday's participants say they will be back again next year.
Two And A Half Men's Cryer told TMZ that he wiped out big time on his bike last year, resulting in some serious road rash and three months of rehab. This year, he was back on his bike and, fortunately, finished without incident.
