This picture that Gwen Stefani shared on Twitter yesterday is proof that even the largest celebrities were once starstruck teenagers just looking for an autograph.

The photo from 1983 shows a young Stefani coming up to British singer Sting while backstage at one of his concerts. The picture is pure 80s, with Stefani masterfully pulling off the yellow shirt/khaki shorts combo and Sting apparently trying out his best Billy Idol impression (Bonus: the dude on the left who is wearing two-toned bowling shoes. Ah, the 80s!).

After that vintage post, Stefani shared a video from the 2003 Super Bowl, where she performed with Sting in front of millions of people, adding the hashtag #DreamsDoComeTrueTimesTwo and leaving no doubt about her affection for Sting.
