Photo: T. Rex Spotted In Downtown L.A.
Reddit user "passthatDutcher" spotted this T. Rex hanging out around Wilshire and Grand downtown over the weekend. What do you think is more "L.A.": this, or hordes of people running around in their underwear?
There are a couple things of note in this photo that render it perfect for an item in a 2016 time capsule: one, the woman taking a selfie with the T. Rex in the foreground, and two, the man standing on the "Onewheel".
Sleuths on Reddit hypothesized that the T. Rex was being used in a commercial; possibly for Mercury Insurance, who must have found that implementing dinosaur destruction was a good way to sell their product:
Good guess, but here's hoping this is just the beginning of a bootleg production of Jurassic World 2.
