Photos: Runners Ditch Their Clothes And Drink Up For Cupid's Undie Run

Before you
Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

Runners stripped down to their underwear to take part in Cupid's Undie Run, a one-mile "fun run" that streaked through downtown on Saturday. All proceeds from run registration fees will go to the Children’s Tumor Foundation. Last year, Cupid's Undie Run raised $3.5 million, nationwide.

The event began at the historic Belasco Theater at noon, before the actual run kicked off at 2. At the finish line? An open bar, and Cupid himself.

Only in L.A. would running around outside in next-to-nothing in the middle of February not sound completely insane.
