Meet Simba, a 3-year-old male: "I'm a friendly boy who ended up at the shelter when my owners could no longer keep me. I'm playful, affectionate, and I get along very well with other cats. Please come by and see how awesome I am!" Simba is available from spcaLA's P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center. spcaLA is Los Angeles' oldest animal welfare organization. Their services include animal cruelty investigations, humane education, animal behavior & training, and adoptions. Last year alone, spcaLA found homes for 3,482 pets.

Esther Bunny is always ready for a good time! This one-year-old terrier mix is very social, loves to hang out with people and is currently in foster care. Esther Bunny has plenty of energy and will do great in a home with children. She is up to date on shots and will be spayed prior to adoption. She is available for adoption from Dawg Squad, an all-volunteer animal rescue in the L.A. area that rescues at-risk animals.

Dawg Squad holds an adoption event every Every Saturday from 11:30am-3:30pm at the Centinela Feed and Pet on Lincoln Blvd.
