Pets of the Week: Gregory and Harold

Rescued from the streets of Echo Park as a baby, Gregory has grown up to be funny, sometimes shy 10-month old sweetie. In his words, "I love other cats, wet food, laser lights, 30 Rock, cursors in Word documents, traditional American hymns, bellyrubs, windows, and sinks. Want to adopt me?"

Gregory is available for adoption for $60 from Luxe Paws. His adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, FIV/FELV tests (he's negative), deworming and lots of love and care that made him a superstar kitty. Luxe Paws works with individuals in Los Feliz, Echo Park, and Silverlake to neuter and spay local strays and ferals to reduce the pet population; finds loving homes for their offspring; produces unique adoption events with the support of local businesses; and engages the community on the value of participating in the effort to keep pets off the streets.

Hello, my name is Harold. I am a brown Pekingese mix about 9 years old. I came from the South Los Angeles Shelter and I was surrendered by my owner. I don't know why my family gave me up but I am hoping to get a second chance and retire in a happy home. I am friendly, cute, and I love people! I really enjoy walks, so if you are looking for a strolling companion, I’m your man! Harold is available for adoption from the Lange Foundation and adoption applications and requirements are on their website. You can meet Harold at the Halfway Home Kennel in West LA.
