Pets of the Week: Georgia & Kip
Georgia is a 5-year-old Pittie with a beautiful chocolate coat and a sweet, funny face. Georgia was found running down the street with a heavy chain and padlock dragging from her neck. She was afraid of people but the kind volunteers at Thumping Tails Animal Rescue gently offered her food until she trusted them. When she learned that she didn't have to be afraid, she totally blossomed! She is very loving to those she knows and trusts. While she can be a little bit shy at first, she is an active, playful, happy girl. Georgia is in foster home with other dogs and does well. She is crate-trained and received a clean bill of health at her last check-up. Because she can be overwhelmed by commotion, a calm home with no young children would suit her best.
If you are interested in meeting Georgia, fill out Thumping Tails' online application. Adopters receive a session with an animal behaviorist to ensure a smooth transition.
Kip Katt came to Purrrfect Solutions Feline Rescue when his owners lost their home and could no longer care for him. Kip is a 1 1/2 years old Savannah mix with absolutely gorgeous markings. He is a real love bug and very playful. To meet him is to love him.
Purrfect Solutions Feline Rescue is a 501c3, non-profit, no-kill rescue group and shelter. Contact Purrrfect Solutions to meet Kip Katt or any of the other fabulous felines looking for homes.
