Meet Rocky, an adorable gray and white 2-month-old kitty who, along with his siblings Tom Tom, Emily, Colt, and 40 of their closest kitty friends, are available for adoption at the spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center. Like most kittens, Rocky loves to play with toys and other kittens, scurry, pounce and cuddle on your lap for nap time.

Today is Kittenpalooza, spcaLA,'s annual cats and kittens adoption event. Expect to find fun vendor booths, gift bags for adopters, frozen treats, and more. During Kittenpalooza, adopt two kittens for the adoption fee of one or a cat 9 months or older for $9. spcaLA is Los Angeles' oldest animal welfare organization celebrating their 135th anniversary this year.

Bubbles just turned one year old! This bright, active pointer mix is well trained, house trained, and gets along great with mellow male dogs. She is always ready for a good time and has a bubbly personality, thus her infectious name. Bubbles never has a bad day; she is always in a good mood and always ready to play. Bubbles loves kids and would do great in a family or with an active couple. Her one fault: she is not a fan of small white fluffy dogs. Oh, well, nobody's perfect!Bubbles is available for adoption from Dawg Squad, an all-volunteer rescue group. Visit the Dawg Squad website if you would like to meet Bubbles or find out more about their adoption process.
