TONIGHTRock Star: INXS fanatics will undoubtedly be glued to the set to see if Jordis can recover from her abysmal rendition of Aerosmith's Dream On.

For those of you haven't been sucked into the vortex of Rock Star, there are plenty of live, local gigs to keep you busy.

  • The Hanks, Juliet Simms, and Darci Cash perform at the Troubadour. Doors open at 7:30pm. Tickets are $12.
  • Res plays the Roxy in Hollywood tonight at 9pm. Tickets are $14. Call 310-278-9457 for details.
  • Silversun Pickups take the stage at Spaceland at 9pm. Tickets are $5 at the door. If you drop the note a band on myspace, you may be able to get in for free.
