LAst Night's Action: The Rare Friday Version

Narbonne High School Gauchos (Harbor City) defeat Crenshaw High School Cougars 25-24. After trailing the Cougars 24-17 at half time, the Gauchos could not get anything going on offense in the second half. Fortunately their defense showed up and held the Cougars scoreless also. All hope looked lost when the Gauchos couldn't convert on a fourth down on Crenshaw's 31 yard line with six minutes left to go. Fortunately Crenshaw inexplicably went for it on a fourth-and-two play on their 39 yard line and were stopped by the Gaucho defense. The Gauchos went in for a touchdown and converted on a two-point conversion to win the game.
LA Lakers defeat Washington Wizards 106-104. Yet again the Lakers led by as much as 19 points in the fourth quarter and let it evaporate like the Republicans' popularity. Leading by only one point with the ball in the Wizards' Caron Butler, the Lakers lucked out when Butler missed a three pointer as time expired. The Lakers had a successful roadtrip going 2-1, however it should be very disconcerting that they let big leads slip away.
Memphis Grizzlies defeat LA Clippers 93-81. Do teams smirk when they see the Clippers come to town? You know things are bad when you with the turnover battle and still lose the game. Nothing more needs to be said.
Edmonton Oilers defeat LA Kings 5-4 (SO).
