This place is a total hazard, because this guy is such a firecracker. Photo by jimsonweed via LAist Flickr Photo Pool.

Great stand up around town this week, and even more to come next week. Those Convoy boys are all over the map this week, and it's SAINT PATTY'S DAY tomorrow! If you can't find something to laugh at when you're drunk, you're either one of those black and white mime clowns that just cries, or you're dead. Either way, you stink. Hit me up here to spread love on a show you are in or know about. I'm NOT A MACHINE, PEOPLE. I CAN LOVE, TOO.

Monday 3/16

Rob Corddry @ The Armando Show, 9p iO West. From the Daily Show, Blackballed, and a bunch of other really great stuff, Rob Corddry provides inspiration to some improv performers, and you as well.

Sentimental Lady, 9:30p UCB. Come see the best Harold team in town do some of the best and most challenging improv around.

Tuesday 3/17
St. Patty’s Day Special!, 8p The Comedy Garage. Yet another underground comedy showcase in (you guessed it) a garage in Burbank. No murders yet, I swear. Some great comics roll through the 1807 N. Edison Blvd pad, actually.

The Irish Peddlers, 8p iO West. BJ Gallagher leads the this faux-Irish 1960’s group as they sing, dance and drink their way into your hearts. One audience member wins a Potato Surprise!

Wednesday 3/18
Larry Miller, 8p Comedy & Magic Club. The longtime TV showman, recently heard on the Adam Carolla podcast, Larry is truly funny.

Vargus Mason, 8p Comedy Store. A solid, hardworking comic trying to make it in this business. Come support.

Thursday 3/19
Tom Davis with Laraine Newman, 7:30p Writer’s Guild Theatre. Al Franken’s comedy partner and SNL alum, Davis teams up with original SNL cast member Newman.

Dan Levy, 8p The Improv. LAist loves Dan Levy, and he’s back at The Improv with the Whateva Whateva tour. Check him out.

Friday 3/20
Comedy Collision, 10:30p Westside Eclectic. A mix of stand up, music, sketch, character, whatever. It all blends together on stage.

Let’s Do This!, 11p UCB. Former long time UCB Cage Match champs Fiasco!, current champs Fancy Schmancy AND Convoy on the same night?! Comedy boners unite!

Saturday 3/21
Fries on the Side, 9:30p SMC Theatre. Head up to North Hollywood for an awesome sketch show. Fresh every week, the actors are given their roles two hours before curtains, and must rely on TelePrompTers that routinely fail, leading to improvised scenes.

Smug Rock Nation, 10p UCB. Joe Lo Truglio is sure to shine in this rad radio format show. Tackle current events, pop culture, and seriously smug people talk about music.

Sunday 3/22
Greg Proops, 7p Ice House. You recognize him from Whose Line Is It Anyway? But he also does stand up. Shows what you know!

Sunday Sunday Sunday, 9p Ultimate Improv. This great Westside show is back, with Gian Molina hosting and a cast of great comedians helping out.
