It's been a dark and cloudy weekend. Let's try to warm things up with some comedy this week, including the always-awesome Daniel Tosh. There's some good improv this week and some really stellar sketch, as well as some untested but possibly-awesome stand up. Good luck out there, comedy comrades. Daryl Wright’s Ignorance is Bliss, 10p The Improv. A slew of good comics try to fill the shoes of some big names that have come before them in this gaining-popularity show.
WEDNESDAY 2/11
Brendon Burns, 8p Comedy Central Stage. Known for a confessional and bitingly-honest stand up style, Brendon should put on quite a show.

Jumping Off Point, 10p MBar. Eight lovely and funny ladies tackle a single issue with written and improvised material.

Dr. Scott’s Comedy Hypnosis, 8p iO West. No word on whether this shit actually works, but you can totally go and find out and then email me and tell me your friend’s girlfriend’s roommate started acting like a turkey, but I won’t believe you. Thanks.

Comedy is for Lovers, 10p UCB. Some great real-life couples and fake..life...couples...perform two person scenes and sketches and improv and whatsnots.
SUNDAY 2/15
Jane Austen Unscripted, 7p Impro Theatre. Old school themed improv comedy that really tears up the famous Austen social satire.
Alonzo Bodden, 7p Ice House. The man used to work on Stealth Bombers for a living before deciding to do comedy. You KNOW this shit must be important.
