Before you
Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

Los Angeles doesn't do Halloween half-way. And why would we? We've already got costume shops up the wazoo and some of the world's best costume-makers and make-up artists. We asked you to send in your costumes, and you delivered with get-ups inspired by Cleopatra, plastic surgery gone awry and a Sriracha hot sauce bottle.

We'll be putting together even more galleries, so if you have a great costume to share, email us at with the subject line, "Halloween Costume." (And do tell us your inspiration just in case we don't recognize the reference. No blackface please, thankyouverymuch.)
