Festivals are generally a time for people to sort of enjoy music and definitely enjoy showing off outfits they bought from Urban Outfitters. What are they not, usually? A place for children.

Pasadena's inaugural Arroyo Seco Weekend was a different environment entirely. The family-friendly festival took place in the park surrounding the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and kids ages 10 and under could come for free. The festival also offered a pop-up from the Kidspace Children's Museum, art and design talks, and lots of craft food and drink options. Put all this together, and it's clear the festival marketed itself towards families with young children—this included adults too old for Coachella, but probably still too young for Oldchella.

What are parents of young children to do, when attending a weekend-long music festival? Dress those kids up, of course. Check out photos of the all the hip kids who will definitely not feel embarrassed by these memories once they're adults.
