LAist doesn't remember January being this cold, or this quiet. But a hail storm on Monday afternoon does tend to keep people indoors...

Tonight at the Egyptian Theatre, the Taylor Hackford Tribute kicks off at 7:00 PM with a screening of last year's Ray, followed by a screening of Dolores Claiborne, starring Kathy Bates.

Taylor Hackford will be on-hand for a discussion between films.
