HALLOWEEN: All dressed up and nowhere to go? We've got some creepy Halloween events, some hauntless ones, Dia de Los Muertos events and even a massive guide to all the Halloween guides out there.
HISTORY: Come down to USC this Saturday to check out the Los Angeles Archives Bazaar. A day-long bazaar takes visitors through Los Angeles and Southern California history at USC's Doheny Memorial Library. The event is free and open to the public and opens at 9 am and ends at 5 pm.
PARTY: Cinefamily, the Hollywood based movie collective, is celebrating their fifth birthday with a massive Halloween blowout party by transforming their theater into a haunted discotheque this Saturday at 7:30 pm. Come get dressed up like Jack the Ripper or Count Dracula and cut up a rug next other Hollywood ghouls. The event is for those aged 21 and over and is sponsored by Angel City Brewing Co. and LA Weekly. Cinefamily is located at 611 N Fairfax Avenue, Los Angeles, 90036. The event is $25.
CLASSIC: The avant-garde 24-piece chamber orchestra wild Up is performing their own renditions of the classical cannon this Saturday at the Hammer Museum at 1 pm. The performance is free to the public.
