This Saturday is the return of the FAB Market downtown. Sponsored by the Selah Artistic Giving Center—an organization dedicated to supporting the local arts community—as well as other local groups, the Market will feature a little bit of everything.
On the bill are artists and designers selling hand-crafted goods; live performances by Bike Extravaganza; ethnic and organic food (from the likes of Taste of Life Vegan Food, Mamas Hot Tamales and Cobblermania); business resources for artists; live music by Poolabomb, IF, Jason Proctor, Pink Mochi, The Atomic Sherpas, Rise of the Speedmen and The Eye Shadows; open mic stage by New Earth; and a free raffle.
Additionally, Selah is hosting a drive for items to benefit Operation Iraqi Children. New school supplies and new or gently used blankets and shoes are all welcome donations.
The FAB Market takes place this Saturday, June 18th, from 12 – 6 PM on the east side of SCI-Arc (330 Santa Fe Avenue between East 3rd Street and East 4th Street Bridge), downtown. Admission and parking are free.
