Eat|See|Hear: New Traveling Outdoor Film Series Begins Tonight

LA loves to screen its movies outdoors—from rooftops (Devil's Night Drive In) to cemeteries (Cinespia). Beginning tonight, there's a new player in the game: Eat|See|Hear, which combines movies, food trucks and live music into an evening of entertainment.
Presented by Fandango, the series takes over local parks and other community venues this summer through Sept. 15, with movies shown on a three-story high, 52-foot wide inflatable movie screen in digital HD and quality audio.
Before each screening, local up-and-coming bands perform live and popular food trucks serve up their fare. Kicking the series off tonight at Santa Monica High School are The Diamond Light (6:30 pm) followed by headliners, Islands (7:15 pm). Anchorman screens at 8:30 pm. Food trucks coming tonight are: Fatmobile, The Lime Truck, Nom Nom, The Shrimp Pimp, Flat Iron, The Greasy Weiner, Me So Hungry, White Rabbit, Buttermilk and Coolhaus.
Advanced tickets are $10. There will also be a limited amount of “Fashionably Late” premium seats available online for $20. A limited amount of passes will also be available for $10 at the door (cash only, no credit cards). Doors open at 5:30 pm.
Next week, Eat|See|Hear takes over Pasadena City Hall. Check out the summer's full schedule.
