Looking at the schedule of games below, it looks like a wading pool of shit for Week 5. LSU playing Towson? What the hell is a "Towson"?

But looking back to Thursday night when Washington upset No. 8 Stanford, if these favorites aren't careful bad things can happen. Stanford's offense collapsed in the face of Washington's defense particularly outside of the hashes, and with what happened at Centurylink Field on Monday it probably shouldn't have been surprising. However unlike the Seahawks, at least the Huskies win was legitimate.

Last year when Oklahoma State as the No. 2 ranked team in the country went to Iowa State on Nov. 18, no one would have thought the game would be close. Perhaps the Cowboys were looking ahead to the Bedlam Series, their final game of the regular season. Not only did the Cyclones take it to overtime, but they upset Oklahoma State 37-31 on that Thursday night.

It's easy to see Boston College pulling the same upset over Clemson. Or SMU stealing one from TCU. Who's to say that Kentucky can't pull out the miracle against South Carolina?

In other news, it sounds like UCLA head coach Jim Mora didn't heed my advice from last week: chill the fuck out. On Wednesday, Mora threw out not only the media but the sports information department from practice after he found cameramen setting up where he didn't like them.

I guess Mora was still cranky after losing to Oregon State last Saturday.
