John Adams discusses his piece "The Dharma at Big Sur" which was premiered at the opening of the Disney Hall. You can hear it this Saturday and Sunday at the Disney Hall as part of the West Coast, Left Coast festival. Leila Josefowicz is the guest artist for the concert.

What's going on this week? The West Coast, Left Coastfestival concludes this week with six concerts. The Kronos Quartet will make another appearance this Tuesday with John Adams, and on Wednesday and Thursday with Leonard Slatkin.

If you're looking for sometihng a little less "modern" and a little more "festive", the Disney Hall hosts the Los Angeles Masters Chorale in a concert of classic Christmas tunes. Since Thanksgiving is over, we can now focus all of our attention towards Christmas. If you love Christmas, Christmas music, or vocal music, this is the concert for you. You have to purchase tickets through the LAMC website and take a peek at the program there, which includes sing alongs like Deck the Halls, O Holy Night, and Joy to the World. This concert is on Saturday at 2:30 PM.
