Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your tax-deductible financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

Do you like to shake your groove thing as much as LAist does? Here are a few parties you can go to and one you can't.

Headinghome, the futurehouse chill-out mainstay, makes its debut at M Bar tonight. Justin Martin, Sammy D, and Eddie Barajas will be playing that headnod space funk just for you. $5 entry all night.

Stones Throw Records has much of their hip hop lineup on stage at The Conga Room. Jaylib (Madlib and Jay Dee) and Oh No headline a 5 act set on the main stage while local DJs Valida, El Dopa, Santo, and Jubal Alfonso try to steal the show in the Toro Lounge. Tickets are $12 ahead of time and $15 at the door.
