Ahh, the '80s, when hair was big, jackets were bigger (check out what Lionel Richie and Andrew Dice Clay were wearing), L.A. had not one but two football teams and the Olympics came to town.

It was a golden age for television, with hits like Dallas, Cheers, Taxi, The Cosby Show, The Muppet Show, and let's not forget Hart to Hart. Madonna was the reigning bad girl, J.R. Ewing TV's reigning bad guy and there was zero talk of Jack Nicholson retiring.

Michael Jackson was, to quote Craig Robinson in Hot Tub Time Machine, still black and Cher showed the Academy how serious actresses dress when she picked up her statue for Moonstruck.
