Video: Jay Duplass, Maria Bamford Eagle Rock The Vote
Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council elections are this Saturday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and to help get the word out, this three minute video was produced and features some of the low-key stars that call Eagle Rock home like Jay "Mr. Mumblecore" Duplass and local stalwart Maria Bamford.
If you don't have the patience to sit through a three minute YouTube video, here are the salient details: all you need to vote is proof that you are a resident (like a piece of mail) and a government-issued ID. There are over a dozen seats up for election, and several candidates are high schoolers. More info here.
Oh, and, after voting, you allegedly get free pie, which is a very quaint Eagle Rock thing to do. All elections should come with pie.
