The LAPD released surveillance video that shows the alleged killer of a discount store clerk running out of the store then calmly walking down Broadway away from the scene.

The man shot the clerk of the Happy Bargain 99 Cents Store on the 7400 block of Broadway in South L.A. around 8:50 p.m. on Sept. 17. The suspect robbed Martha Sanchez, 39, shot her and fled.

A customer walked into the store shortly after the shooting and called for help. Sanchez was taken to a local hospital where the married mother of five died.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30's and about six-feet tall.
