A suspected burglar and kidnapper is a wanted man after he broke into two apartments in the same complex, robbing cash from one and holding a woman hostage in another--forcing her to cook for him while he smoked some meth.Santa Ana Police say the suspect initially entered an apartment in a building in the 500 block of North Lyon Street at about 7 a.m. Monday, using an unlocked door to let himself in. Once inside, he allegedly helped himself to $100 from the female tenant's purse, and was confronted by the woman's son. The suspect then "calmly" left the apartment.

However, later that same day in the early afternoon, the suspect returned to the apartment building, and gained access to another unit by force via a window.

Inside the apartment, the suspect encountered the female tenant. Police say he grabbed the woman and forced her to remain inside with him for about two to three hours. In that time, the suspect--who police believe may be a homeless man who frequents the area--demanded the woman cook him a meal. He passed his time by smoking methamphetamine, according to City News Service.

When he felt it was time to go, the suspect took the victim's blue beach cruiser bicycle and fled.
