The body of a homicide victim was discovered Monday inside some recently-poured concrete at a Santa Fe Springs business.

The unidentified male is thought to have been the victim of a killing at the hands of Juan Alberto Galviz, with whom the man had allegedly been engaged in a feud.

The investigation began Sunday night, according to the Whittier Daily News. The body was found by canine units and officials with the Los Angeles County Coroner's office at Coleman Luxaire, a heating and air conditioning business.

Galviz, 35, was located at a nearby business and arrested.

Authorities say they do not know how the victim has been dead or when he was buried in the concrete. It is also unclear if the victim worked at the facility, nor what his specific relationship was to Galviz.

Employees of nearby businesses have told police they did not witness any suspicious activity.
