Congratulations, AS, The Sonic Youth Tix Are Yrs
We had a pair of tickets and two posters for the Sonic Youth show at the Greek next month for a lucky winner who dared to either daydream or tell us a story. It will be a historic show as the band will play their entire Daydream Nation album. AS won with the story below that was chosen randomly.
We understand that there are still a few tickets left for the July 20th show, which blows our mind, so if you dont have tix yet, jump on this.
The first time I saw Sonic Youth I went with a bunch of friends so we'd be the first in line to get in. We got there about 5 hours early and played dominoes on the side walk, talking about how awesome Sonic Youth is. We ruminated on the amazing babies each band member would have together. My dominoes set is still "dirty" from that game on Hollywood Blvd, but I can't wash it - its my only lasting memory of the show (how lame, I know) - AS
Not lame at all AS, see you at the gig!
