Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

We couldn't help but be mesmerized by these photos in our LAist Featured Photos pool on Flickr taken by Grant Palmer Photography showing the fiery artistry of Sirena Serpentina. The Long Beach-based troupe, formed in 2003, performs their blazing hot belly dancing for public and private audiences, reflecting the members' commitment to "creating, dancing & connecting spiritually through nature & yoga." Check their website for info about upcoming shows you can check out yourself.
