Black CSI Actor Denied Entrance to Hollywood Club on Eve of Jackie Robinson Day

The night before tens of thousands at Chavez Ravine celebrated the anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier, a few miles west, in Hollywood, an African-American star on one of the most popular tv shows in the nation was being denied entrance into a new club.

Last night Gary Dourdan was told that he wasn't (choose one: famous enough, cool enough, on a hot enough show) to come into the Hollywood Blvd. club Parc.

Being turned away from allegedly cool nightclubs is nothing new, people like Tara Reid, Joanie Laurer, and even Paris Hilton have been rejected like the C-listers they are. But a star of a Top 5 TV show - that's been the top-rated program here in the US twice in its 7-year run? Doorman, please.

Dourdan has been in each of the 161 CSI episodes, and even starred as the love interest of a Janet Jackson music video in the '90s (after the jump). So what's a brotha gotta do to get into a Hollywood club in 2007?

While it's cute sometimes to turn away selfish starlets and attention-whoring wannabes in front of the paparazzi, clubs should probably watch that shit the night before Jackie Robinson day with actual actors of actual hit shows. Just sayin.
