Another Difference Between LA and New York

The New York Post reports on a star-studded party at The Argyle over the weekend that featured the likes of Orlando Bloom, Cristina Ricci, and Drew Barrymore among others. The lede, however, is about Anna Wintour to which our immediate response was, "Who the hell is Anna Wintour?"
Oh, she's the editor of American Vogue. We read on to see that she was throwing a party for Maria Mario Testino to which our immediate response was, "Who the hell is Maria Mario Testino?"
Huh. Maybe this is why LA's fashion scene doesn't get the respect it probably deserves. We can't be bothered to know the names of the fashionistas when Salma Hayek is in the audience.
Maybe we should pay more attention to the words of Clothes Hoarse instead of just looking at all the pretty pictures.
