ABC7 is reporting something that you don't hear every day, even in LA, a man setting himself on fire with the aid of lighter fluid in a government building:

An adult male walked into the ground floor of Long Beach City Hall around 3:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon, dropped a package and then set himself on fire, according to Long Beach Fire Department officials. People in the building extinguished the man and he was transported to an area hospital.

The building was evacuated due to the suspicious device dropped by the man.

This is one of those situations where we sorta hope the surveillance video is not released.photo by fur cafe
