We were on a mission to eat as much fair food as possible. Fair=Deep Fried! This is Deep Fried Avocado, one of our faves of the day. Runner up: Deep Fried Twinkie. Too Gross for Words: The Krispy Kreme Donut Chicken Sandwich.
Some of the award winning crafts on display: Hooked Rug Jesus, an accomplished senior's foodstuff award, and knits with a message.
A brave old soul tries bungee jumping.
The Pioneer Cheerleaders pass by during the afternoon parade. We love that there wasn't a blonde in the bunch.
Inside the carnival attendees are beckoned to try out all the ususal games. Curious George was a popular prize. (We nabbed three mini Georges after giving darts a shot.)
