Kidrockers Returns This Sunday to The Echo

After a successful inaugural season that included The Afternoons, The Deadly Syndrome, The Parson Red Heads, Whispertown 2000, The Broken West, Le Switch, Radar Bros., The One AM Radio, Eulogies, Langhorne Slim, One Trick Pony, Local Natives, and Saint Motel, the family-friendly Kidrockers LA returns this Sunday to The Echo, hosted by comedians Matt Dwyer and Matt Braunger with music by The Damselles & the TC4 and Quazar & the Bamboozled.

"Yep, it's exactly what it sounds like: An afternoon show geared toward young music fans -- age 3 to 13 -- and their parents," reported Variety TV Editor Michael Schneider at Franklin Avenue. "OK, go ahead and roll your eyes at the hipster parents forcing their kids to a rock show. But I personally think it's a pretty cool idea. First of all, exposing your kids to live music is never a bad thing (well, unless it's Miley Cyrus). And getting your kids excited about good music is never a bad thing either. Obviously you can't take your kids to a late night 21-and-over show, so this represents a rare opportunity to head to The Echo, during the day, with your young kid in tow. (Those of you without kids have no idea how liberating this sounds.)"

Kidrockers takes place on Sunday, October 4th. 1:00-2:30 PM. $9 via TicketWeb and $12 at the door. All ages, but adults must be accompanied by a child.
