Michael Flores
I’m an associate producer with daily newscasts. If you’ve heard a report by a host on Morning Edition or All Things Considered, I may have written it. Prior to my position, I was a graduate student at the Columbia University School of Journalism, where I focused on documentary production.
I was also a reporting fellow at the Pulitzer Center, receiving grant monies to produce a documentary on the rise of strongmen in the Philippines. I previously worked as a general assignment reporter for Pacifica Radio 90.7 FM here in Los Angeles.
Throw in various experiences as a photographer, academic researcher, and statistician… and you have me. I also really like boba.
