And, lastly, Ventura's own indie rockers Franklin for Short, who recently concluded a stint with Kings of Convenience and released their sixth studio-album entitled Dark Cloud, will be performing for free, in-store at Origami Vinyl. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Getty Center to catch local alt-rock act Dawes, who will be performing for this month's edition of 'Saturdays Off The 405.'

Tonight San Diegan retro 60s rock act the Donkeys will be headlining Spaceland with Foreign Born side-project Big Search in tow. Austin-based garage rockers Harlem are poised to grace the Echo with Echo Park's own psych-rockers Black Apples and Audacity. And, lastly, local funk troupe Orgone will be performing for free at noon in the heart of Downtown at California Plaza. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echoplex to catch lo-fi, psychedelic pop maestros Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, who recently released their ninth studio-album—2010's Before Today. LAist favorites, local lo-fi pop trio Pearl Harbor, who are currently operating under the moniker Puro Instinct, and Memphis-bred orchestral pop outfit Magic Kids are slated to kick things off.

Tonight Admiral Radley, an LA-based indie rock conglomerate that is equal parts former Grandaddy, former Earlimart, will be performing with local indie rock outfit the Happy Hollows (LAist Review, #2, #3) at the Hammer Museum for this week's edition of 'Also I Like To Rock.' San Franciscan indie pop quartet A B & the Sea are poised to perform at Three Clubs in Hollyweird with none other than Arizona's own indie pop act What Laura Says and Long Beach-bred one-man band Nima Kazeroun, who performs under the pseudonym So Many Wizards. And, lastly, LA-based pop quartet Oh Darling will be gracing Spaceland with local americana outfit Wires in the Walls, as well as Fullerton-bred indie rock quintet the Steelwells. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echoplex to catch Brooklyn-based electro pop trio Au Revoir Simone, who are touring in support of their recently released remix record—2010's Night Light. LAist favorite, Brooklyn-bred folk songbird Alexa Wilding is slated to kick things off.

Tonight Irish folk pop duo the Guggenheim Grotto will be gracing the Hotel Café in celebration of their third studio-album, 2010's The Universe Is Laughing, warming up the stage for Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters fame. Highland Park's own deep crooner Crooked Cowboy is poised to perform at Spaceland. And, lastly, local indie pop singer-songwriter Courtenay Green, who performs under the pseudonym See Green, will be gracing the Bootleg Theater with local indie rock quartet Red Tide. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Hollywood Bowl to catch the oldest son of Nigerian Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, who's last LA performance took place over two years ago.

New Jersey's own indie rock quintet Steel Train are poised to perform at the El Rey Theatre. And, lastly, LA-based electro-infused indie rock trio the Delta Mirror will be taking on Spaceland with local punk-tinged, lo-fi, all-girl trio Wet & Reckless. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch Highland Park experimental indie rock sextet Fol Chen (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4), who recently released their sophomore studio-album—2010's Part II: The New December. LAist favorite, Chatsworth-based producer/electronic mastermind Will Wiesenfeld, otherwise known as Baths, is slated to perform as well.

And, lastly, experimental indie rockers the Outline will be taking on the Bootleg Theater with local indie pop quartet Superhumanoids in tow. But we strongly suggest heading over to Echo Curio to catch Fargo-bred psychedelic rock trio Secret Cities, who are currently touring in support of their second spectacular studio-album—2010's Pink Graffiti.

LAist favorites, local rapper Busdriver (LAist Review, #2) and Sao Paulo's self-proclaimed purveyor of tropical punk, Cibelle, are slated to kick thing off.
