And, lastly, local singer-songwriter Nicole Simone, who recently released an EP featuring none other than Jason Schwartzman, will be performing at the Hotel Café. But we strongly suggest heading over to El Rey Theatre to catch Portland's own experimental rock sextet Blitzen Trapper (LAist Interview). LAist favorites, Seattle-based folk rock quartet the Moondoggies are slated to kick things off.

And, lastly, Long Beach-based indie rockers We Barbarians will be concluding their month-long residency at Spaceland with none other local blues-infused indie rock duo Rumspringa (LAist Review, #2) . But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echo to catch Echo Park's own electro dance duo Rainbow Arabia, who will be concluding their month-long residency as well. LAist favorites, Australian psych rock quartet Tame Impala, who will be making their LA debut, are slated to perform as well.

Critically acclaimed London-based house duo Basement Jaxx are poised to head the biggest electronic dance festival outside of Europe, otherwise known as the Electric Daisy Carnival, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Expo Park in Downtown. And, lastly, Australian-bred singer-songwriter Andy Clockwise will be taking on the Hotel Café in anticipation of his forthcoming studio-album, 2010's The Socialite.
