A man and woman are both hospitalized but expected to live after being shot this morning in Pasadena, reports the Pasadena Star News. The shooting happened around 2 a.m. The man was hit in a hand and a leg, and the woman was hit in the lower abdomen.

Have Your Pets Spayed, Neutered and Airlifted: Bob Barker Pays for Rescue of Bolivian Circus AnimalsOnce he was hosting "The Price is Right" out of CBS studios, and now he's rescuing big cats: the Daily News reports that Bob Barker paid for 29 lions to be airlifted from circuses in Bolivia to the U.S. The transfer came after the lions were seized by Animal Defenders International, headquartered in Los Angeles, in January in accordance with a law outlawing animal use in circuses in Bolivia.

You hate to say I told you so when it comes to children, but the fact that Nadya Suleman is getting burned out from caring for her brood of 14 seems like kind of a no-brainer.
