  • Beloved funnyman Fred Willard appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and, naturally, the number one topic was his arrest for lewd conduct at a Hollywood porn theater. Fallon asked what movie he saw, "The movie you went to see.. was it The Firm? Was it Free Willy? Was it Anaconda?" Willard said, "Sadly, it was Get Shorty."
  • While inmates have reportedly discussed killing him, guards and other jail employees aren't happy with him either, since he's been spitting at them (he's now wearing a face guard). But now one worker reveals Holmes had a galling question: How did the Batman film end?
  • James Holmes, the man suspected of methodically planning the killing and wounding of dozens of people at a Colorado movie theater, has appeared in public for the first time since the horrific crime. At a hearing held in an Arapahoe County courthouse, Holmes, with dyed reddish-orange hair, appeared dazed and bewildered. He did not speak, upon advisement from his lawyers from the Public Defender's Office.

  • A day after the horrific killing of 12 people and wounding of 58 others at a suburban Denver movie theater, police are hoping to enter the apartment of the massacre suspect.

  • During a midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" a movie theater in a Denver suburb, a masked man burst in and started shooting. According to the Denver Post, he apparently entered through an emergency exit at the front of the theater: "The suspect then threw some type of explosive and started shooting into the packed theater The man had a rifle, a handgun and a gas mask when police arrested him." The suspect, a white man, has been identified as James Holmes, 24. Ten people died at the theater, while four died at area hospitals.
  • Fred Willard, the beloved funny man of TV and screen, was arrested last night—for allegedly masturbating at a Hollywood theater. According to TMZ, "LAPD undercover vice officers went into the Tiki Theater in Hollywood and found the 78-year-old 'Anchorman' star watching last night's feature ... with his penis exposed and in his hand."
  • Rubber Man says "YES!" American Horror Story and Mad Men each earned 17 nominations in this year's Primetime Emmys honors. However, even though American Horror Story had 12 episodes, the FX drama called itself a "mini-series," giving itself the opportunity to rack up that many nods (Mad Men, which has 13 episodes, is in the drama category).
