Prepare yourselves: starting on June 22 all eight ramps at the 405 intercharge above Wilshire and Sepulveda will be demolished and rebuilt over the course of the next year. Metro will be doing construction on these ramps two at a time, and City News Service tells us it's being called "Octojam" (since naming our construction projects is a habit we just haven't been able to kick since Carmageddon).

Lindsay Lohan is getting suddenly bashful at the thought of going completely nude in her next movie "The Canyons." A publicist hired by Walmart posed as a student journalist from USC in order to infiltrate a labor meeting and talk to warehouse workers about working conditions. The group Warehouse Workers United is working to improve conditions for workers at area Walmarts.

A second medical marijuana patient has been denied a transplant at Cedars-Sinai. Patient Toni Trujillo was put on a kidney transplant list earlier this year after her existing kidney transplant began to fail but she was booted off the list because of her "substance abuse," according to Americans for Safe Access.

A jury today convicted a former Westminster cop of kidnapping a woman from the Ontario Mills Mall and raping her at gunpoint back in 2010. The jury seemed to reject the "Zoloft defense" offered up by the attorney for the ex-cop Anthony Nicholas Orban, 32.

It's the time of the year for high school seniors—even otherwise well-behaved honor students—to blow off steam and pull one last prank. But at least one group of students is paying the price for senior year hijinks.
