A woman was sexually assaulted yesterday during an early morning run on a beach in Santa Monica. The assault happened around 4:50 am just north of the Santa Monica pier.

The California Supreme decided today that it wasn't going to a take a second look at the case of a man convicted of randomly killing a Lancaster man with a crossbow. Arsellers C. A man was charged today for fatally stabbing a man at a Shakey's restaurant in the San Gabriel Valley this Saturday. Jose De Jesus Ruiz, 22, of Bakersfield is accused of stabbing Patrick Raymond Ortega, 25, to death during a brawl at the pizza parlor in Monterey Park.
