Lee Dorman, the bassist for Iron Butterfly and Captain Beyond, was found dead yesterday. According to an Orange County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman, his body was discovered in a vehicle; foul play is not suspected though. He was 70.

According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN LA, the Lakers have fired head coach Mike Brown. In one season and five games with the Lakers, he has gone 42-29 including the 1-4 record to start this season.
