Win Tickets to the LA Film Festival

This story is free to read because readers choose to support LAist. If you find value in independent local reporting, make a donation to power our newsroom today.

LAist would like to send you and a guest to a June 20th screening of the worldwide festival sensation Me and You and Everyone We Know, filmed in Los Angeles by local artist Miranda July. The film premiered at Sundance this year and received the Special Jury Prize for Originality of Vision.

The film stars July and John Hawkes—currently best known for his role as Sol Star on "Deadwood," but known to local fans as one of the members of King Straggler—as individuals in the artist's "observation of how people struggle to connect with one another in an isolating and contemporary world."

To enter for your chance to win tickets to see this screening and after party during the Los Angeles International Film Festival, fill out the form below:

Fine Print: Entries received by 5:00 PM PST Friday, June 17th will eligible to win tickets. Affiliates of LAist (and any other -ist sites), Fanscape, and IFC/Sundance are not eligible to enter. You must be at least 17 years of age to win.

You come to LAist because you want independent reporting and trustworthy local information. Our newsroom doesn’t answer to shareholders looking to turn a profit. Instead, we answer to you and our connected community. We are free to tell the full truth, to hold power to account without fear or favor, and to follow facts wherever they lead. Our only loyalty is to our audiences and our mission: to inform, engage, and strengthen our community.

Right now, LAist has lost $1.7M in annual funding due to Congress clawing back money already approved. The support we receive from readers like you will determine how fully our newsroom can continue informing, serving, and strengthening Southern California.
