Attacker Calls West Hollywood Bar Manager 'Fucking Fag' Before Punching Him in the Face

The manager of a popular gay bar was reportedly attacked on his way home at about 2:30 a.m. today, reports West Hollywood Confidential.

The man, whose name and place of employ haven't been released (WeHo Confidential only says that the bar is "not There Lounge"), was walking alone when he says he was approached by two men driving an old Honda Accord. Thinking that they were going to ask him for directions, one man instead got out of the car and yelled, "fucking fag, you all should die and burn in hell."

The man then punched the manager in the face.

But the manager told WeHo Confidential that he wasn't about to let his attacker get away so easily: "I wasn't going let this mofo do that to me, so I fought him back and gave him a few hints not to fuck with this fag before he went running," he said.

This is the fourth attack on West Hollywood men in recent weeks, and all have had a homophobic tenor, if not been outwardly anti-gay: WeHo Confidential reported last month that in another attack against a man walking home late at night, the suspect shouted "Hey faggot, what are you doing out here so late?" before beating WeHo resident Billy Mandrick near Santa Monica Blvd. and Robertson.
