Photo: The Hollywood Sign's Facelift Is Halfway Done

Hooray for paint jobs! The iconic Hollywood Sign is in the midst of a facelift--like any respectable famous showbiz "face" nearing 90 years young would--and the work is about halfway done.
The folks at Sherwin-Williams, who are handling the hard work of stripping down the letters, then priming and painting them, checked in with us to let us know the H-O-L-L-Y are done, and the W is a work in progress.
The project is expected to take 10 weeks total, and got underway in mid-October.
