Thanksgiving 06: Some People Who Are Thankful to be Alive

Before you read more...
Dear reader, we're asking you to help us keep local news available for all. Your financial support keeps our stories free to read, instead of hidden behind paywalls. We believe when reliable local reporting is widely available, the entire community benefits. Thank you for investing in your neighborhood.

When LAist thinks about things to be thankful about we normally praise Jah for our health, our great friends, our sweetass job, our loving family, our ridiculous luck with the ladies, and the fact that we live in the greatest city in the world.

But after watching this video we know that there are some people who are thankful to even be alive today.

Aerosmith claims in "Amazing" that "life is a journey, not a destination", so enjoy every step of your journey, friends, cuz you never know when tragedy might strike -- or come thatclose to striking you.
