Streets To Avoid For Sunday's LA Marathon
Take heed, Sunday drivers: the LA Marathon is happening this weekend, and with it comes temporary street closures stretching from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica.
The course winds its way through several neighborhoods, and street closures will take effect at around 3:45 a.m. at the beginning of the course and 5:00 a.m. near the end. The track will be reopened at different intervals throughout the day as the marathoners make their way through the course. A list can be found here.
There will also be additional street closures on roads that are not part of the race track. These streets will be local access only until they reopen. Some freeway ramps will be affected as well.
